Student Wellbeing & Mental Health
Saira is known for being calm in a crisis and fiercely protective of young people finding their feet. Outside of Campus Mum, she loves long walks, meaningful conversations and creating a sense of home wherever her family is. She brings a deeply empathetic, steady presence to student wellbeing and family support.
Emma

International & Multicultural Support
Emma is practical, warm, and quietly organised and the person friends call when they need things explained clearly. She enjoys travelling, learning about different cultures, and helping families feel confident navigating unfamiliar systems. At Campus Mum, she focuses on international families and smooth transitions into UK education.
Lucy Li

Academic Support & University Relations
Lucy is thoughtful, approachable and academically focused, with a natural ability to build trust. She enjoys mentoring, staying connected to university life, and helping students make confident decisions about their studies. She leads academic support and university relationships at Campus Mum.

How Campus Mum Began
Campus Mum began when Saira, Emma and Lucy Li met at a university event and discovered a shared concern: international students were navigating the UK education system without the everyday family support they needed. Lucy's transition from China to th UK gave us first hand understanding of culture, academic and emotional challenges international families face
We began helping a small number of international families on an informal basis, supporting students from Asia and Middle East as they settled into UK life. From understanding university expectationds to adjusting culturally and emotionaslly.
The need became undeniable When COVID-19 halted travel, many students were left without family nearby. We saew first-hand how isolating this was, re reinforcing the impoirtant oftrusted, local support on the ground.
Campus Mum officially launched, bringing together lived experiences and professional insight to provide warm, reliable mum-led support for international students and their families across the UK.
Today, Campus Mum supports families across the globe from USA, China, India, UAE and beyond. Providing consistent, trusted care for international students accross the UK. Support that feels personal, parent led and not institutional.
